Hydroton Clay Pebbles
These German sourced Clay Pebbles are clean, pH neutral and pH stable. The uniform shape and internal structure of these pebbles ensures good root aeration and prevents rotting and soil pests. Ideal for use in various systems. They can also be combined with other growing media such as coco, soils or mapito to improve drainage and structure. With the use of Cannazym whilst growing and Oxy-Plus to clean them they can be reused once more.
Canna Coco
Canna Coco has become very popular due to the view that the quality of produce is excellent and yields are good. They are made from the refined husks of coconuts and provides an airy rooting environment. Canna Coco medium has no nutrient content and for maximum effect should be used with a coco specific nutrient such as Canna Coco. The most popular hydroponic additives are equally as effective in coco.
Mapito
Is a mixture of shredded polyurethane foam & rockwool which provides the moisture-holding of rockwool with the good drainage of a PU foam.
Rockwool
This is a modern alternative to soil. It is lightweight, completely sterile and non-toxic. It’s structure provides roots with a perfect air to water ratio. Once cuttings are propagated cuttings then they should be transplanted on into Grodan Transplanting Cubes. We offer 2 sizes of Transplanting Cube, each with either a large or small hole. After establishing your plants, they can be moved on into any kind of system. Grodan Rockwool Cubes are ideal for raising seedlings and cuttings. A popular growing medium. Once roots start to emerge through the cubes they need to be planted into larger Grodan Transplanting Cubes or some other medium.
Canna Bio Terra Plus
Bio-Terra Plus is a truly organic growing medium developed by Canna to cater
for the needs of organic purists only wishing to use truly organic products
when growing. It is derived from the finest organic materials available and
consists of a variety of organic peats including top quality white peat as
well as shredded tree bark which aids both the structure and drainage of the
soil. It is pre-fertilised with a variety of certified organic fertilisers
such as bone meal, bat guano and various naturally derived micro elements
and requires little feed during the vegetative stage and is exceptionally
easy to use. Recommended for use with the rest of the Bio-Canna range.
Bio Bizz All-Mix
A
very popular growing medium containing an effective blend of soil (20%), compost
(35%), worm castings (10%) and Perlite (30%) as well as a special 'pre-mix' (5%)
of biologically active organic ingredients that have been fermented for a month
to create a potent mixture. All Mix is suitable for all stages of plant life
cycle. Bio-Bizz soil is 100% organic.
Canna
Terra Professional soil mix is an all round pre-fertilised soil and a truly
exceptional superior soil growing medium. Specifically designed for use with Canna Terra and Canna Bio Nutrients to provide fantastic results for all who use
them. Canna Terra Professional has a high nutrient content as well as good
structure, aeration and drainage. It is the ideal soil for many growers as very
little nutrient is needed until plants are onto a flowering/fruiting light
cycle.
Perlite
A popular growing medium for use in pots. It is lightweight with good aeration and drainage. Works well and can be used throughout the duration of a plants life-cycle. Combined with Vermiculite it can provide an effective seed and clone raising growing medium.
Vermiculite
Usually this is mixed with Perlite as mentioned above. The combination holds
more water than other alternatives. It is often added to soil.
