Plants are in a constant state of respiration. During the daylight hours they photosynthesise releasing oxygen and water whilst consuming CO2, which in turn changes the composition of the air inside the grow room. The air should be changed regularly so that the plant doesn't run short of CO2 and consequently not be able to make its food. Also, too much humidity can reduce the nutrient uptake from the roots and encourage fungal and other diseases. For this reason there is much benefit to be gained from controlling your growroom environment.
